IRONMAN Lanzarote 2018. Canary Islands, Spain. Organized by Club La Santa.
On 26 May, the 27th edition of one of the world’s most important sporting events will be held: the IRONMAN Lanzarote 2018 triathlon. Canary Islands, Spain. Swimming. Pedaling. Running.
IRONMAN is 40 years old, since 1978, under the leadership of US Navy Commander John Collins and his wife Judy as a challenge. In February 1978 they moved to Hawaii, Waikiki, with 15 other competitors to swim 2.4 miles, pedal 112 miles and run 26.2 miles. Thus was born IRONMAN.
Without a doubt this is one of the toughest competitions, only suitable for brave people who want to leave their skin to the ground. Although with the views that the Island of Lanzarote offers during the IRONMAN’s journey through the hickory lands we would try anything.
