Playa de La Garita Beach in Arrieta, Lanzarote
On the outskirts of Arrieta, in the north-east of Lanzarote lies the Playa La Garita, a light-brown sand beach, about 800 meters long, mainly frequented by locals.
This beach is managed by the municipality of Haria. It is also easy to reach for people with disabilities, it offers public shower, toilets, daily emptied trash bins and children’s play ground equipment. On windy days you can also see some windsurfers here.
At the southern end of the beach, where there are larger areas with smaller and larger stones, people who are particularly interested and looking for quiet space find a place to listen to the relaxing sea noise.
