Playa de Charco del Palo Beach, Lanzarote
Approximately 6 km south of Arrieta is the only official naturism – nudist village of the Canary Islands, named Charco del Palo.
At the southern entrance of Mala, an insignificant sign points this only 40 year old village.
In Charco del Palo there is no sand beach, but 3 different, partly with light sand, specially designed and wind protected bathing possibilities.
Near the village, along the coast, between Arrieta and Los Cocoteros, you will find a lot of other places which allow you to bathe and unwind.
In Charco del Palo there are also 2 restaurants, 1 cozy cafe and a small supermarket, where you can buy drinks and snacks before visiting the beach.
Parking near the sea in Charco del Palo is easily possible in many places.
For children and people with reduced mobility, access to the bathing areas, except to the so-called duck pool at the northern end of the village and the tidal pool at the southern end, is rather less suitable.
