Playa del Paso Beach

Playa del Paso Beach, El Golfo, Lanzarote

To the natural, about 120 meters long, secluded, dark, sandy beach Playa del Paso you have two different possibilities.
Once from El Golfo, by walking about 1.5 kilometers over rugged lava rocks along the coast, starting from the parking lot at the north end of the village, in direction to the North, or via an approx. 2.2 KM long, easier to walk footpath through a spectacular scenery with possibilitiy for great landscape photos.

To the parking lot on the road from Yaiza in the direction of El Golfo turn right 1.5 km before El Golfo. To find this parking easier you can use this coordinates of the car park: 28 ° 59’24.55 “N 13 ° 49’0.82” W

The sea at Playa del Paso beach, at the southern end of the Timanfaya, is mostly very wild, why we strongly recommend that you only to stay in very low water and don’t really go to swim at this beach.

Surely you wouldn’t expect sun beds, umbrellas, restaurants, showers, toilets or even a 1st Aid station.

Under any circumstances, do not leave any packaging waste at this jewel of nature, but if someone is going on the way to such treasures of nature, he allways pays attention to this subject, without beeing extra reminded.

The Playa del Paso beach is the perfect place for romantics which enjoy to relax and unwind. The sight of this beach is a real coronation after a short hike to get there.
